The Neos iTV Administration Tools give you a backup or alternative to controlling the system via an interface with your own Property Management System.

You can check guest rooms into and out of the system - move a guest from one room to another, but keep their billing history - set preferences, including those for adult content - turn billing on or off - all from any PC with administration privileges on the network.

Given the amount of revenue you could be billing through your Neos iTV system, it makes sense to have this independent means of controlling the system, should you need it; but the system will work just as well when controlled through the interface with your PMS.
